The PM SHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA AFS BAGDOGRA was established in 1981, with the goal of providing students with the best and most up-to-date teaching and learning facilities for holistic development. The Kolkata Region’s KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA AFS BAGDOGRA, was founded as a temple of learning by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an independent organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Every class in the Vidyalaya, from I to VI, has two sections; VII to X has three sections. The Vidyalaya offers Commerce and Science streams for the XIth and XIIth classes, having one section for each class.
